Life and death of the magpie king
Medibang studio, Wacom Tablet + pencil on paper , 2019
Life and death of the magpie king was a piece originally made for a silk screen project traditionally but was then render digitally to make a stencil print as well as produced for the purpose of digital printing.
Here is the process as well as all my notes on what colour and where to cut when I was planning it out to be made as a print, The print itself failed but the concept I still love to this day so I turned it into a digital drawing and then a 3D/glitch effect variant to be used on the cover of my 2019 sketchbook.
The magpie has always been my favourite bird as well as I have a fascination for bones and flowers and outside things and is a very common muse with in lots of my works.
